We are seeking an Artist Manager / Executive Assistant to join our Birmingham-based team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of the music industry, managing and supporting some of the most exciting acts in heavy metal and alternative music.


Role Overview

As an Artist Manager / Executive Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our artists’ careers while managing day-to-day operations. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, in-depth industry knowledge, and a genuine passion for music, particularly heavy metal.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the day-to-day management of artists, including scheduling, logistics, and communications.
  • Collaborate with artists and their teams to ensure clear and effective communication.
  • Manage and update various budgets, requiring advanced spreadsheet skills (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets).
  • Provide administrative support, including email management, meeting scheduling, and record-keeping.
  • Act as a point of contact for artists, promoters, and other industry professionals.
  • Coordinate and attend shows, tours, and networking events, sometimes requiring travel and irregular hours.
  • Support the development of strategic plans for artist careers, including releases, touring, and promotional campaigns.

Requirements:
  • Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of the music industry, particularly within the heavy music scene.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly detail-oriented with excellent time-management skills.
  • Spreadsheet Expertise: Advanced proficiency in creating and managing various types of budgets.
  • Communication: Clear, professional, and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Passion for Music: A genuine love for heavy metal and an appreciation for other genres.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel and work outside traditional office hours.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with a range of stakeholders, from artists to promoters.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in artist management or a similar role within the music industry.
  • Knowledge of digital platforms and social media strategies.
  • An existing network of contacts within the music industry.
