About the role
London Records are seeking an experienced, full-time Marketing Manager to join the team, working across new signings including Alewya, Joalin and Shadowchild; plus priority catalogue artists and the launch of the new London Records podcast.
Job Overview
Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will have solid previous experience as a Marketing Manager at a leading UK record label, with excellent organisational skills, a collaborative working style, meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage simultaneous campaigns.
This role has scope to help develop the artist roster and make meaningful impact to creative campaigns at an exciting time for the company.
Key responsibilities
- Key contact for our frontline artists campaigns, ensuring a clear line of communication with artists, managers and team members; developing relationships and solving any issues.
- Devising marketing strategy for new campaigns. Developing audiences for our artists around all key moments.
- Working alongside the digital team to implement innovative strategies and identifying new methods and technologies to market our releases.
- Coordinating domestic and international marketing teams to ensure all releases run smoothly.
- Understanding and working within set budgets.
- Overseeing procurement of assets and exercising a solid understanding of the supply chain.
- Coordinating and ensuring all production deadlines for physical and digital releases from initiation to delivery are met.
- Sourcing and commissioning new creative including remixes, videos, social media assets and artwork.
- Managing archive of audiovisual assets, label copy etc. Ensuring the current archive is run in the most cost and time effective manner.
- Assisting marketing team with uploads to key platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Vevo etc.
Requirements
- Drive to create exciting and innovative campaigns for our artists.
- Collaborative working style and the ability to manage and bring the best out of a team.
- 3 years+ experience working as a Marketing Manager across significant and successful campaigns.
- Proven results in managing frontline album campaigns.
- Ability to work autonomously, making decisions and managing a busy and demanding workload.
- Experience in analysing data and results. An understanding of key analytical software.
- A creative mindset with an excellent eye for photography, graphic design and motion graphics.
- A solid understanding of audiovisual and marketing assets.
- The ability to work with the team to identify, devise and implicate new systems to ensure smooth running of the label.
- Excellent IT skills including Word, Excel, Photoshop.
- A solid network of industry and creative contacts.
