Role Responsibilities
The Manager, Brand & Creative will be responsible for advancing and executing the creative vision and strategic direction of Nettwerk’s owned content channels—including Instagram, YouTube (900k subs), DSP profiles and playlists, newsletters, and more—to establish Nettwerk as a vibrant music and culture brand.
This role will focus on the development and execution of branded content, storytelling, and creative assets that strengthen Nettwerk’s identity and enhance audience engagement – all in service of driving value and visibility for our artists. Additionally, this role will collaborate with internal teams to define and develop artist brand strategy, contributing to the refinement of visual identity, messaging, and long-term positioning for Nettwerk artists.
The ideal candidate is a highly creative and strategic thinker, a visual storyteller with a strong understanding of editorial, content marketing, and audience development in the music and entertainment space.
What you’ll do
Content Strategy & Development:
- Develop and execute a cohesive content strategy across all owned channels (Instagram, YouTube, DSP profiles and playlists, website, newsletters, etc.).
- Create and maintain a global editorial calendar, driving cross-functional collaboration and executing on consistent, high-quality content that reflects Nettwerk’s brand voice and strategic objectives.
- Design and review in-house branded content, including newsletters, templates, posters, and marketing assets.
- Identify high-impact storytelling opportunities that position Nettwerk as a cultural connector and deepen relationships across our artists, their fan communities, and the broader music ecosystem.
- Experiment with new content formats, platform-specific strategies, and audience engagement tactics to maximize reach and impact.
- Stay ahead of trends in music, digital content, and social media to ensure Nettwerk remains a leader in music branding and content strategy.
- Leverage data insights to drive growth and engagement, optimizing for audience retention and brand affinity.
- Preferred: Act as an in-house artist, working to craft hand-drawn line art to support a new flagship feature for the Nettwerk brand.
Artist Brand Strategy & Development:
- Partner with A&R, Marketing, and Management to develop artist brand strategy and creative direction.
- Provide creative direction to support long-term artist positioning. Define and refine visual identity, narrative, and messaging for artist brands, ensuring consistency across platforms.
Collaboration & Teamwork
- Represent Nettwerk’s brand vision in cross-functional meetings and projects, advocating for creative excellence and audience-first thinking.
- Act as a bridge between marketing, A&R, digital, and creative teams, ensuring alignment across content strategies.
- Review branded and cobranded content from various external creative partnerships, freelancers, and vendors to ensure all campaigns are aligned to Nettwerk’s brand and content strategy.
Role Requirements:
- 3-5 years + of experience in brand marketing, content strategy, design, or digital media — ideally within music, entertainment, or creative industries.
- Proficiency in digital illustration with a portfolio—bonus for hand-drawn line art and/or portrait work.
- Exceptional design sensibility and experience with creative tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Procreate, etc.).
- Strong understanding of content marketing across social, digital, and streaming platforms, with a proven track record of growing engaged audiences.
- Experience developing brand identities, storytelling frameworks, and audience-driven content strategies.
- Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and brand messaging.
- Ability to balance creative vision with strategic objectives, ensuring all content drives meaningful engagement and brand growth.
- Experience analyzing content performance and making data-driven optimizations.
- Passion for music, culture, and digital storytelling.
- Portfolio preferred

The pay range for this role is:
38,000 – 45,000 EUR per year (Hamburg)
