Chief Technology Officer / Digital Transformation Officer

Our growing international team consists of 30+ people, and we continue to expand our business by investing in hiring new stars to join our team. Position Summary
We seek an experienced and forward-thinking Chief Technology Officer / Digital Transformation Officer to lead our technology strategy. The successful candidate will implement and oversee all technical aspects of the company, including system architecture, technology stack, operational processes, and digital transformation initiatives. This is a transitional role focused on fixing and reshaping our existing processes, data infrastructure, and technical systems to establish a strong foundation for future growth. We expect it to be a part time role (2 – 3 days per week) for 3 – 6 months.
Key Responsibilities
Technology Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with business objectives – Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams
- Stay current with industry trends and innovations to maintain competitive advantage – Represent the company’s technical vision to partners, investors, and stakeholders Process Management & Optimization:
- Review all IP-related existing systems, processes, and tools to identify inefficiencies and opportunities
- Own, manage, and regularly update all operational process flow charts
- Implement best practices for technology operations and process documentation – Establish metrics and KPIs to measure process effectiveness
Systems & Applications Management:
- Investigate and implement a fully functioning Content Management System (CMS) solution – Investigate, improve, and implement artist-facing onboarding and reporting tools and dashboards such as Prisma for Artists and Artist Contract Forms, etc.
- Either build in-house solutions, select and implement off-the-shelf platforms, or combine both. – Ensure seamless integration between various systems and applications
Data & Metadata Management:
- Create an internal database/s to act as a source of truth for all IP, Income, and Royalties information.
- Review and map (meta)data sources and issues across the organization
- Develop data governance policies and procedures
Analytics & Reporting:
- Lead the evaluation of organizational analytics requirements and deliver solutions through in-house development or third-party implementation.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and develop Prisma’s technical team by recruiting top-tier engineering talent, cultivating a culture of innovation and technical excellence, and collaborating cross-functionally to align technology initiatives with broader organizational goals.
Budget & Resource Management
- Oversee technology budget development and resource allocation, balancing cost optimization with service quality while strategically evaluating and selecting vendors and managing technology partnerships
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field – 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles
- Proven track record in digital transformation and technology implementation – Experience in music industry IP management essential
- Strong understanding of music rights and data
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of software development, system architecture, and IT infrastructure – Experience with content management systems and metadata management – Knowledge of data analytics tools and methodologies
- Familiarity with process optimization and documentation
