Overview:

Q Prime South is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager (Social Media) to play a key role in supporting our artists and executing impactful digital campaigns. This role combines social media management, content strategy, and data analytics to ensure our artists’ music, tours, and brand initiatives connect with fans in meaningful ways.

You’ll oversee artist social media accounts, develop and execute innovative marketing campaigns, and stay ahead of digital trends to drive engagement. This position also supports the digital team across the full Q Prime South artist roster.

Success in this role requires strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate with senior management and external partners.


Responsibilities
  • Social Media Management: Grow and engage artist social media communities (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, YouTube, etc.), monitor audience insights, and report key performance data.
  • Content Strategy & Execution: Develop, edit, and oversee engaging content (text, photos, videos, and news) in collaboration with creative teams. Occasionally execute content edits as needed.
  • Campaign Development: Plan and implement innovative marketing strategies to drive fan engagement and brand awareness across all social media platforms.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with artists, digital, touring, and radio teams to ensure brand consistency and maximize social engagement.
  • Community Engagement: Actively monitor social platforms, respond to fan inquiries, and track audience sentiment.
  • Creative Coordination: Manage the creation and delivery of visual assets, social graphics, and layouts in coordination with internal and external teams.
  • Platform Innovation: Stay ahead of emerging social media trends and features, integrating them into marketing strategies.
  • Artist Development: Contribute to artist marketing strategies by generating ideas, pitching concepts, and supporting media, marketing, and digital initiatives.

Requirements and skills
  • 3-5 years of experience in social media, preferably in the music, entertainment, or creative industries.
  • Strong knowledge of popular social media platforms, content management, and digital marketing best practices.
  • Excellent copywriting, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Hands-on experience managing and creating digital content (text, images, video).
  • Basic knowledge of email/SMS marketing platforms.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel (10-20%) as needed.

Bonus Points
  • Experience working directly with artists or in artist management.
  • Knowledge of influencer marketing, paid social media, and advertising strategies.
  • Proficiency in basic video editing or design tools.
