Creative Sync Coordinator (Hybrid)
As the Coordinator of our Creative Sync Department, you will play a crucial role in managing and organizing our extensive music catalog which includes our One-Stop Music Library, Label, Publishing and independent artist roster. This position requires strong organizational skills, music industry knowledge, and attention to detail to ensure the smooth operation of our creative sync services.
You will collaborate closely with all members of the Music Supervision & Creative Synch team. Note: This position is based out of our Los Angeles Headquarters. Only applicants local to the greater Los Angeles area will be considered.
What you will do
- Organize and maintain the one-stop music library catalog, ensuring accurate metadata, categorization, and accessibility of music tracks on various platforms including Disco, Chordal and others as requested and developed
- Implement and update cataloging systems to facilitate efficient search and retrieval of music assets
- Conduct periodic audits of the music library to update metadata, remove outdated tracks, and maintain overall quality
- Document and track all incoming sync requests, approvals, confirmations, air dates and payments
- Set meetings, maintain calendar, expenses and general support for EVP of Creative Sync
- Maintain a client database
- Create and manage the marketing servicing blasts schedule. This includes week of release, show invites, artist spotlights and themed playlists across third party, label, publisher and one-stop library
- Track and keep up to date our global production tracker
- Assist in setting up showcases and sync events to foster artist growth and visibility
- Assist on creative briefs
- Pull quarterly sync reports as well as a larger annual numbers presentation
What you will need
- 2-3 years experience as an intern, assistant or co-ordinator at a record label, publisher, sync company, or with a music supervisor.
- Experience with excel, google office suites, Disco, Airtable, Pipedrive, Monday.com and various music platforms.
- Ear for music in order to tag songs appropriately.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of music business & music licensing principles.
Hourly Range: $24.00-$28.84 DOE.
