Sr Director Of Digital Marketing & Fan Acquisition
Location: Nashville, TN Offices
Relocation: Compensation Negotiable
The Sr Director of Digital Marketing & Fan Acquisition will be responsible for overseeing the full digital & viral marketing team. They will be tasked with helping build and execute the rollout plans for all phases of the artist’s career from touring to new music releases to building and curating superfans.
Skills
- Candidates should have a general sense of curiosity for trends and viral moments in real-time on social platforms.
- Responsible for planning, development, strategy and execution around building superfans in and out of release cycles.
- Experience inside of or around label systems and daily operations of major music companies
- Focus on pushing fans from discovery to superfan stage through social and digital engagement while tracking conversion to consumption
- Collaborate with external label partners on a daily basis to align on focus and strategy
- Maintain expert level knowledge of social platforms and social content strategies with a deep understanding of how to push engagement
- Build and sustain relationships with social media representatives across the industry
- Participate in planning and execution of weekly content shoots for roster artists
- Stay in constant communication with artist roster on social direction
- High level understanding of ad strategy best practices for conversion and to build momentum around releases
Candidate Has
- At Least 6-7 yrs of experience in digital / social / viral marketing in music or related field
- Experience leading an artist rosters and multiple projects simultaneously
- A passion for socials, music, and fan-focused digital strategies
- Continued understanding of current cultural and social trends in all genres
- Experience understand data and KPIs that are important to leveraging social media audiences for consumption
- Ability to effectively articulate complicated digital strategies to talent
- Focus on performing in tight timelines with expert communication skills
